This picture was created as a self-made epilogue to russian modern folk song named "Inquisitor" - sad story that tells us about an Inquisitor who falls in love with handsome witch brought to his persecution. He is unable to resist his duty and orders the executioner to burn the witch. He suffers so much and claims God for iniquity.

In my epilogue, although, we can see that it's not that easy to destroy witch permanently! And even after such a treatment she still loves poor Inquisitor. Her restless spirit will now guide and follow him until they meet one day...
