Description

When different worlds collide, no one can foresee the future of such wrap. Dark, wild enchantments of nature and night twists with young and pure magic of light and joy. But even this uncommon clash can be properly balanced and kept on true power of love and wings of care.

What a great and clever idea to use these lovely characters as symbols of day and night. It's pretty obvious though, but someone finally did it! "Aurore" and "Dark Fairy" make suddenly perfect sense!

I'm even rather tended to say "Night Angel" than "Dark Fairy", with her feathered wings, and her halo. It almost looks like a christian representation (I guess that was the point? Got it!).

One detail that bothered me just a little bit: Maleficent's horns are taller in my own global representation of her. But at the same time, there's no need here to even know her and Aurora to see all the symbolism. In an enjoyable kind of way, drawing Maleficent with smaller horns allows the whole thing to be loved by all audiences! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>

If I may, I'ld see another biblical inspired painting (or sort of) with those two: Maleficent as the Red Dragon and Aurora as the Woman Clothed in/with the Sun.
That would be pretty twisted <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/let…" width="15" height="15" alt=":p" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="394" title=":p (Lick)"/>
I'm sure, there's a way to do it 8)

I hope my critic is clear enough ^^'
In the worst case, one word (just the same I used for the movie itself by the way <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/let…" width="15" height="15" alt=":p" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="394" title=":p (Lick)"/>): MAGNIFICENT.
